Snell Signs with Oil Kings
The Edmonton Oil Kings have signed Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) student-athletes Parker Snell to a Western Hockey League (WHL) Scholarship and Development Agreement.
Snell joined the CSSHL in 2021/22 with the Northern Alberta Xtreme (NAX) U15 team, posting a 2.73 GAA, and .894 SV%. This season Snell played for the NAX U15 Prep team where he had a division best 1.35 GAA, .944 SV%, was named Top Goaltender and helped NAX capture their first U15 Prep CSSHL Western Championship. The St. Albert, AB netminder was selected in the second round, 34th overall by the Oil Kings.
