
Hilman Commits to University of Nebraska-Omaha
Hilman spent the 2018/19 season with the Northern Alberta Xtreme (NAX) U16 Prep team, leading NAX to a Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) U16 League Championship. In 36 regular season games Hilman would tally 25 goals and 33 assists for 58 points, second best in the U16 Prep division.
A ninth-round pick, 185th overall by the Prince Albert Raiders in the 2018 Western Hockey League (WHL) Draft, Hilman made the jump to the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) with the Drumheller Dragons in 2019/20, finishing with 28 points in 47 games. The Sylvan Lake, AB forward would be named team captain, at just 16 years old, heading into the 2020/21 season where he would finish with 7 points in just 10 games. This year Hilman has 42 points in 41games, including a team high 22 goals.
