Crusaders Add Souch
The Sherwood Park Crusaders have signed Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) student-athlete Brock Souch for the 2022/23 Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) season.
A forward from Edmonton, AB, Souch has spent the past two seasons in the CSSHL with the Northern Alberta Xtreme (NAX). In four U15 Prep games in 2020/21, Souch recorded one goal and three assists. In 33 U16 Prep games this season, Souch would finish second on his team and sixth in the league with 61 points, while adding 9 points in 5 playoff games as NAX captured a U16 Prep League Championship. Souch would win silver with Team AB at the 2021 WHL Cup, scoring twice while adding one assist in five games.
The Regina Pats selected Souch in the fifth round, 107th overall in the 2021 Western Hockey League (WHL) Draft.
